Academy schoolboy Jack Ainsley won his first cap and scored his first goal for the England U17s as they beat Sweden 4-2 in their opening game at the Nordic Tournament held in the Faroe Islands. Ainsley came on as a sub in the 54th minute and netted the final goal of the game in injury time. |

Academy striker Jordan Rhodes will miss the beginning of the season after the injury sustained towards the end of last night's friendly at Framlingham was revealed to be a broken collar bone. Rhodes scored twice along with Billy Clarke to give the young Town side a 4-2 victory at Badingham Road. |
